Melissa Knopper, MS, has 20 years of experience writing for magazines and newspapers, including the Rocky Mountain News and Chicago Tribune. Melissa attended Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in New York and has written two books. She has interviewed several celebrities, including President Barack Obama and country singer Trisha Yearwood. In 2009, she launched Real Life Tributes to offer a meaningful and personal type of storytelling for people of all ages. Melissa shares a quirky Victorian house in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood with her husband, Steve; daughter, Rose (age 7) and their black cat, Feather.
